ABOUT US
How It All Started

Fishroom was founded in 2010 by Adrian Frei, whose passion for fishkeeping evolved from a personal hobby into a full-time commitment. What began as a modest collection of aquariums soon expanded into a dedicated fish room, marking the start of an exciting journey.

Through years of hands-on experience—overcoming challenges such as floods, diseases, and countless lessons learned—Adrian developed a deep understanding of aquatic life and an unwavering dedication to the craft. His mission remains the same: to continue learning every day and to share that knowledge with fellow fishkeepers.
At Fishroom, we’ve built a reputation for maintaining crystal-clear aquariums and providing only the highest quality livestock. We prioritize the health and well-being of our fish by replicating their natural environments as closely as possible and offering them only premium-quality foods.

Where We Are Now

After years of trial, exploration, and growth, Fishroom has evolved from a small home operation into a thriving full-time business. Our journey has taken us around the world and through countless experiences, all of which have strengthened our expertise and commitment to excellence.
We are currently in the process of expanding into a larger, purpose-built facility to better accommodate our growing collection of aquariums and the increasing demand from the fishkeeping community. Like many hobbyists, we understand how a single tank can quickly turn into a lifelong passion—and we’re proud to live that passion every day.

What’s to Come

Looking ahead, our goal is to continue growing Fishroom into a leading name within the fishkeeping community.
We aim to make a lasting impact by:
-
Introducing locally bred fish to the market at fair and accessible prices.
-
Offering rare and exotic strains—including wild-caught and imported species—that are seldom available locally.
Our vision is to share our love for the hobby with others, promote responsible fishkeeping, and help every aquarist create a thriving aquatic environment of their own.
